UPDATE: THE BILL JACKSON DOCUMENTS INVESTIGATION: “THE BOOK OF THE WARS OF THE LORD”

The Quest of Oak Island Podcast

On March 12, 2024, on the Quest of Oak Island Podcast, a document called “The Book of The Wars of the Lord”, was presented after being received via email by a person identified as Ron. This document is part of the Bill Jackson documents that allegedly Jackson put in the back of a book that had been in the possession of Don Ruh. This document was allegedly written by a person known only as "CLY" in 1908. It was presented that the writing style of some of the letters on this document look very similar to the writing style on the Oak Island Map. This indicates that it is likely that both of these documents were written by the same person.

It was also stated that this was the first time that such an analysis of writing styles was presented regarding the Oak Island Map. This is incorrect, as Compendium Investigations previously presented research in our series, The Bill Jackson Documents Investigation Part 4, that showed some of the same writing similarities between three of the Bill Jackson Documents. These included: The Nova Scotia Map, La Formule Cipher, and The Oak Island Map.  These similarities appear to indicate that the same person authored all three of these documents. It also appears that this other Bill Jackson document, “The Book of the Wars of the Lord” can now be added to the same list.

It appears that all of these documents connected to Bill Jackson, the source of the Oak Island map, are presented as having different dates and authors, but all have similar writing characteristics. There are some variations in the style of writing in each individual document, but there are particularities in certain letters that are quite atypical and are the same in all of them. It is the opinion of Compendium Investigations that the writing styles have these variations because they were intentionally made to look as though they were written by different people at different times, when in fact, it was the same author. Why would anyone want to do this? Compendium Investigations is now digging into “The Book of the Wars of the Lord” document and will be presenting a full investigation with our analysis forthcoming very soon.

Please refer to our recent five-part investigative series, “The Bill Jackson Documents Investigation” for further information.

Good day from the Compendium!
